It's Ursa's 50th review! She's massively excited, though not everyone else is quite as thrilled. This week, we side with the Browncoats in a Serenity-themed "Agency vs. Structure" Smackdown! With cameos from Welshy, Cheapus, FunkyMonkey, Sofie Liv, the Porn Critic, and Mysterious Overlord of the UFOAgony Booth Winston O'Boogie, it's going to be... interesting.
Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD (so far)
“Agents of SHIELD is undoubtedly a weak show—staying awake through all six episodes again to write this post was a bit of a challenge—but it doesn’t appear that great, memorable TV was ever really the goal here.”The Cabin in the Woods (2012): A loving hate letter to horror
“It’s really amusing to watch each character get slowly dumbed down before our eyes. It’s like watching the history of slasher films itself, as each sequel becomes stupider, more clichéd, and less human and enjoyable.”Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012)
“Just imagine a standup comic telling you the same joke over and over for 105 minutes just to make sure you got it, and you’ll get a pretty good idea of what this movie is like.”Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011)
“The only way I can explain the following scenes is that someone sat back and thought to themselves, ‘You know what this film is missing, aside from a coherent plot, convincing threat, steady tone and Megatron? Dick jokes and gay jokes. That’s what we need!’”Jupiter Ascending (2015), a recap (part 7 of 12): Must love dogs
In which we meet a half-man/half-elephant, and Jupiter confesses her feelings for Caine in the most embarrassingly stupid way possible.Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983)
Or: Faith, Kindness and Luke. For our last episode before The Force Awakens (eeeeeee!!!) let's discuss Return of the Jedi, trusting other people to do their jobs, following your conscience, and generally Being A Stubborn Idealistic Twerp.
