Scott Pilgrim is not a hipster film. It's a GAMER film. You can't just call everyone who disagrees with your taste in movies a hipster. That's the kind of thing hipsters do.That said, I don't think "NSFW" covers this story. I felt the need to cover my face in shame, and there's not even anyone else in the room with me.

Well, as for the "hipster/gamer" complaint, I would direct my complaints to the author of the story, if it were me. Don't see why you should feel too embarassed; I take this kind of thing in stride (it's not as if I don't have a sense of humor about myself...) ;-)

Hey, I have a sense of humor too, but if somebody sent me a fanfic about myself raping and then killing an actor I disliked, I think I'd be a little freaked out. That said, I did laugh a few times during this.And yeah, just to make it clear, I wasn't really complaining about you, I was just voicing a general opinion.I just don't get why some people think Scott Pilgrim is a hipster movie. I will acquiesce that it's a niche film: if you're not in the target audience it's not going to have anything for you and you'll probably hate it, but being targeted at a small niche has nothing to do with hipsters.Also, like I said, taking everyone who likes something you don't and then lumping them all together under some insulting phrase is exactly the sort of thing hipsters do, and a large part of why everyone hates them.
