Sorry for the interruption, but we'd really appreciate it if you watched some of our videos!
All videos are written, performed, and edited by the Agony Booth staff, so they're just like the recaps you know and love, only without all that annoying reading!

Let me start with what I liked. You did have a lot of really funny lines ("This kitchen looks like it was designed by Apple.") and overall I enjoyed the video. Now the bad, and let me make sure I mention that this in no way detracts from the enjoyment of the rest of the video. You have a nasty habit of going into a play-by-play mode. You know, "Lester does this. Sam does that." where you just say what's happening without anything interesting or witty. This video is not nearly as bad about it as the Dante's Peak video was, but it still does it quite a bit and it's, frankly, really boring to listen to.That said, if there was just less of that then the videos would be fantastic.

got posted before I was quite finished. Also, I didn't know Mel.Grif. had a daughter who is an actress. This makes three generations: if you didn't already know, Mel.Grif's mother is Tippi "The Birds" Hedren.

Yep, she's from an every growing family of actresses. I'm curious to see how her daughter's career turns out.

I have actually seen this film, and the crane scene is even stupider than the video makes it look. When the car is hanging from the crane, Melanie Griffith shoots the driver. He slumps forward and lands on a lever that makes the crane slew round. Once it's gone as far as it can go it bumps to a stop, and the bump makes the driver slump sideways and land on another lever that makes the crane let the car down.

That sequence gets dumber every time I watch it. It's one of those things where I can't believe no one on set questioned it. I'm all for suspension of disbelief but that went off the charts.

Great review, this is probably my favorite Agony Booth video series. It seems to run a little short and a little thin on jokes at times, but that's better than forcing things or mugging for the camera.

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Yeah, when I think "sexbot", I totally think of Gort.

Cecil, i like the review but u tend to narrate the hole movie.Johnson does something *next scene* Johnson dose something *next scene* Johnson dose somethingthe best parts of the review are the behind the scene stuff and the info of some scenesBy the way, is that a cat in a 5 gallon water bottle?

Glad you liked the behind the scenes stuff. Good eye! Yes, that was a cat in the water bottle. The bottom was cut out and they put it over the kitty for the scene. The cat was not in any harm. (which is huge to me because I love cats)

Wow, I didn't realize that "ass girl" from The Social Network was Melanie Griffith's kid.I've never seen this film, but Basil Poledouris' score has been a favorite on CD for years.

I didn't even know Griffith had a kid.....but she sure is fine...:)

I agree, she is lovely. I only found out about her a few years ago myself. Thankfully she inherited her mother's build and not her squeaky voice.

She was cute so I checked her out on the IMDB and was surprised to find out who she was.Poledouris really should be recognized more. His pounding scores elevated some movies to a new level.
