In a rare TV-based episode, Mr. Mendo takes on the most infamous episode of The A-Team ever, “The Heart of Rock and Roll”, where Hannibal, Face, Murdock, and B.A. help Rick James get his friend and mentor Isaac Hayes out of a tough situation! Isaac is about to be released from prison, but he’s gotten himself involved in some sort of robbery ring, and his only hope of surviving is a cassette tape... or something.

Really, it’s just a flimsy excuse to build an episode around lengthy performances of the greatest hits of Rick James, Isaac Hayes, James Taylor, and Huey Lewis and the News. Take out all the songs, and “Heart of Rock and Roll” is a 12 minute episode, which is exactly what Mendo has made for you!

These aren't really holes in the premise by the show's standards. For example, because Face is the super con artist of the team and has such expensive tastes, he often has things like mansions and fancy cars, under assumed names of course.

Yes, but if the A-Team are so well-known that ordinary people recognize them, how come no cops ever put it together. Or, for that matter, how is it none of Face's floosies ever say to themselves, "Gee, they looked an awful lot like that A-Team everyone's always talking about..."
