At 1:28, Nick is wearing the jersey of our local Ontario Hockey League team, the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. I don't know if I should be proud of that or not.

You had me at "Fran Drescher's hair being set on fire". I'd pay to see that. For real.

I remember Phelous not liking this. Sometimes he can be off with his reviews. Still like him though:)

I'll have to check this out, given we both think Bad Santa was awful. I'm surprised you didn't mention that the super-cute Mac was played by the super-cute Aussie Emilie de Ravin, who was just starting out in Lost at the time.

I remember so many people telling me I just had to see Bad Santa. Conceptually it was good but oh my god, the execution was just awful. The same forced humor that tries so hard to be edgy. I couldn't stand it. I never actually watched Lost (I know, I know) and I was really backed up with the holidays and all so I didn't mention much of the cast's other works.

I'm glad I'm nor the only one that didn't like "Bad Santa". I thought the crazy antics got old quick and honestly, I feel like they put them in to make the movie not seem sad. Loved this movie and "Silent night 4+5". I just love Christmas movie that are creative like "Jingle all the way"and movies like that:)

I remember so many people telling me I just had to see Bad Santa. Conceptually it was good but oh my god, the execution was just awful.I smiled precisely once, when the kid called Lauren Graham's character "Mrs Santa's sister" (and if you can't remember the context, it doesn't matter)I never actually watched Lost (I know, I know)No need to feel bad about that on my account - I only lasted one season before it surpassed my Threshold of Stupidity. The lovely EdR is still on my radar only because she's in Once Upon A Time (please don't judge me...)

I won't judge. As Emilie de Ravin shows go, I'd say skip Lost and go right for Once. It's just as silly (moreso, actually, as it wears its silliness on its sleeve), but without any of the pretension or promises-that-will-build-to-absolutely-nothing.

"Once upon a time" is a great show. And Emilie de Ravin is very cute in it - although I like her more as more kick-ass alien in "Roswell". ^^ My favourite characters in there are next to Rumpelstilzkin/Mr. Gold (I'm sure that Robert Carlisle had fun with that role) Miss Swann and kick-ass Snow. ^^

I wonder why Goldberg's movie career never took off..... This movie is AWESOME.
12/30/2013 10:12:32 PM
As far as I know the only other movies he's been in were Ready To Rumble and The Longest Yard remake (which both starred a multitude of other wrestlers!) so maybe that's why!
12/30/2013 10:13:12 PM
and also Universal Soldier: The Return.
12/30/2013 10:32:59 PM
Either way, these films were probably why his film career never took off. Also Cecil, does Santa spear anyone or say "YOU'RE NEXT!" in this film? Because that'd be awesome!
12/31/2013 7:20:59 AM
Close! The stinger after the credits is him looking at his list, turning to the camera and saying "Who's Next?"
12/31/2013 7:22:25 PM
Points to Dwayne Johnson just passing by: "YOU'RE NEXT...AGAIN!!"
12/31/2013 5:22:19 AM
Probably because he cut ties with Vince McMahon and didn't get put into those movies they produce?
12/31/2013 7:18:46 AM
A shame, he would have been a nice addition to The Condemned.
12/31/2013 7:18:15 AM
I know a lot of people would look sideways when I say this but Goldberg was good in this! He delivered his lines with such gusto, he totally sold it. I've seen bigger name actors/actresses that continue to give mediocre performances but get big roles and bigger paychecks.
