In this episode, we have to let the game tell us how to properly play out character, because at this point, why even have players?

I love the reviews, but there does seem to be one thing off about them. The best way to describe it is that you are like a man on the Titanic complaining that the dinner service is late. About 90% of the review is you describing a game system written by an incompetent with a numbers fetish, interspersed with rules about how much damage is done when your character anally rapes a toddler. My reaction is “boring, too complicated, waste of time, OH MY F^&*ING GOD, THAT’S SICK, needlessly complicated” I’m getting mood whiplash here.

Yeah, it’s especially bad in this one. The things I covered here were more boring than outrageously awful. But If I want to properly illustrate everything that makes this irredeemable, I need to show it all.
I do get what you’re saying though.

Oh man this alignment system. I see your “you changed one thing” and raise you this. So he was playing AD&D 2, huh? Just a second…

Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Player’s Guide, 1995 revision, Chapter 4:

“Law, Neutrality, and Chaos […] One of these represents the character’s ethos.”
“Good, Neutrality and Evil […] These parts describe, more or less, a character’s moral outlook.”

That’s right, he didn’t even come up with the new labels.

Wow. Good catch. I’ve never played AD&D, so I wouldn’t even have thought of that.
