The Return of the King (1980) (part 8 of 8)
Gandalf narrates some more over footage of the good guys marching into Mordor. And yes, there is a lame song played over this, that I honestly don’t have the will to cover. It’s done from the POV of the bad guys, and warns the good guys to retreat. Let’s just say it stinks like the autopsy of a spicy chili enthusiast, and be done with it.
They finally get to their final destination, only to be met by a messenger, the Mouth of Sauron. While he was a pretty creepy sight in the extended version of the live action film, here… Well, he’s just some dour looking guy in black armor.
They have a rather bland exchange of words, with Aragorn pledging to fight, and the guy simply rides back the way he came. Wow, I am on the edge of my seat! I should probably move back a little, it’s more comfortable.
