The Howling: New Moon Rising (1995) (part 5 of 11)

Cut to Ted on a payphone. He asks the person on the other end why they “sent that drunk Davis here”, because he could have “blown my cover”. Amusingly, Clive Turner keeps the hand holding the receiver in front of his mouth the entire time, obviously wanting to make it easier to dub in his lines later.

He informs the person on the phone that Davis AKA Mullet Guy is gone, and then hangs up. He holds a business card for “Alpha Productions” in his hand, which he then proceeds to… leave in the phone booth? A moment later, we see another hand pick it up, and note the name “Catherine Rose Liddle” on the card.

For a brief moment, we cut to a blonde woman hanging up a cordless phone. Now, people who saw Howling IV: The Original Nightmare will immediately recognize her as that movie’s main character, Marie Adams. Those who didn’t see it will probably think a random woman somewhere in the world has just hung up her phone.
