#4: The comic stylings of Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham

Say what you will about Stallone’s comedy chops (and I have), but in his action movies, he tends to have some pretty good funny moments when given the right partner. Jason Statham is the right partner here, as they essentially share the lead character role (why else would Statham get a subplot with his girlfriend and the abusive guy she’s sleeping with?), and both men have good byplay. From Statham getting a text message during a tense moment in the beginning, to their back and forth during the recon mission, they make a very nice comic duo.
