It's the season finale of How to Get Away With Murder! Annalise must confront some family drama when she returns home to avoid responsibilities. Meanwhile, the ANTLS freak out and wait for Annalise to save the day. Flashbacks give insight into Frank's role into Annalise's accident. Cicely Tyson guest stars.
As the police investigate the Hapstell case further, the ANTLs take turns blaming Annalise for all of their problems. There's drinking, crying, secrets revealed, random hook ups--yep, just another typical HTGAWM episode.
Wes continues to investigate his mother's death, Annalise negotiates a plea deal, Laurel and Frank remain broken up, and the ANTLs keep their eye out for Creepy Philip. If everybody just talked about their problems, there would be a lot less unnecessary flashbacks and double crossing. But hey, it wouldn't be "How To Get Away With Murder" now would it?
This week, "How to Get Away with Murder" is renamed "How To Stop Someone From Getting Away with Blackmail". The ANTLs gather to deal with Creepy Phillip's blackmail video. Meanwhile, Wes and Laurel take a trip to Ohio and learn some troubling information. With the help of flashbacks, of course.
Do you hear the ANTLs sing, singing the songs of angry interns? Fed up with Annalise's bossiness, the ANTLs quit in the middle of a Case of the Week. Wes avoids the fallout because he's stuck in a psych ward. Yeah, you read that right. Also: more flashbacks on the Mysterious Backstory of Annalise and Wes.
Let's break it down: Annalise was shot, the ANTLs need to make sure the police bought their phony crime scene, and Wes gets suspicious about his connection to Annalise. With everyone breaking down, how are these people going to get away with murder?
New Year's Eve is this Thursday, December 31st and it's fast approaching. As we look forward to the parties and making our resolutions, here are some of our favorite TV characters who should seriously consider some self-improvement this year.
Asher and Laurel are the new Frank and Bonnie, but it's hard to stay on top when the Hapstells keep taking stupid plea deals. Can we kill them next?
Sinclair tries to pin Nate for murder while Annalise defends a crazy stalker. This is great time for Laurel and Oliver to shine--if anyone will let them.
Annalise finds out all sorts of secrets about Asher and just can't stand to keep them all to herself when they're just so darned useful!
Asher is going to testify against Annalise! No he isn't! Yes he is! No he isn't! Yes he is! Oh, and racist aunt is racist but how much does that really matter anyway?
Could it be Michaela is falling in love with her murder-y, incest-y client? Can Annalise bring herself to kill her sometimes-boyfriend's wife? And would the movie Mean Girls have been funnier with a touch more murder, or would that just be Heathers all over again?
Guess which HTGAWM character has never had an orgasm! Also, lots of sex parties, a little bit of accidental murder, and no answers at all in the flash-forwards.
Annalise accidentally gets an innocent man freed from prison. Oops. Meanwhile, her students continue to make monumentally stupid decisions, professionally and personally.
