Superman III (1983) (part 6 of 6)

Back in the cave, Gus takes a fire axe to the Kryptonite beam and shuts it off. Unfortunately, the computer shoots a Whatever Beam at him, slamming him against the cave wall and knocking him unconscious. Miss Ambrosia begs Superman for help, but he just flies away. Or… does he? Well, he does. But it’s necessary for his plan, you see.

Anyway, Webster and Miss Ambrosia manage to escape, but Vera is sucked into the machine. The computer turns her into FemBot 2.0 and she goes after the other two. The makeup is pretty good here, but the Joan Jett wig kind of spoils the effect. She knocks out Webster and pins Miss Ambrosia to the wall with energy bolts.

    Superman should have taken Lorelei out of there with Gus. She was cute and she was really rooting for him. And you forgot when Superman landed in the junkyard, he gave an agonized yell that sent all the workers running the heck out of there!
