Aw man, I thought you were preparing to go as Bluto for Halloween. Because with that hat you’re killing it.

        I *had* thought about it…

    A few thoughts now.

Ennuigi–this is the only game in this trio I’ve heard of already. So–bleak irony is the new gritty remake? I guess an original game this iconic is due its flipside, like the mildly disturbing kalliopie score suggests.

Colonel Quest–I laughed at the premise here more than for the one behind Super Obama World, just seeing Col. Sanders the icon as hero/protagonist in what’s ultimately a new version of Bartender–where everyone looks a little South Park-ish somehow. I for one never suspected him of having so interesting a life, so insane it’s cool. It also goes to show that anyone can be the subject of any medium, be it Koolaid Man in his own superhero comic book series or in-his-prime Muhammad Ali’s face on D-Con packages (those really happened). The music in that baby-bouncing level sounds like Greg Hawkes composed it.

Super Obama World–yeah, this works best as the time capsule it is. I’m a sucker though for alternate-universe stuff where you stick one existing character into the perfectly set up background of another. No changes to dialogue or action, just I wanna see the X story with Y in the exact place of X and see what it looks like. A long way to say I enjoy the very premise. Even better–Super Sanders World!

Yeah, I think of the three, Colonel Quest is probably the most fun!

You don’t know the pie speech? It’s his Berlin speech! It’s his moon shot speech! It is epic!

    • MichaelANovelli

Ah, for a second I thought it might have been the “Make The Pie Higher” speech, and I was like, “Wait, that was Bush…”
