Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny (1972) (part 11 of 11)

Santa goes back to wiping the sweat from his forehead. To waste more time, he yet again gripes about the sun, and the camera once again is pointed directly into the sun.

That sweat is 80 proof, by the way.

Santa yells, “I cannot bear it one more moment!” And to our sheer disgust, he unbuckles his belt, removes his coat, and reveals a thin pink t-shirt [!!] underneath. Hilariously, this reveals that Santa is extremely slender here. Maybe someone should have told the filmmakers that a skinny guy in his thirties probably wasn’t the best choice to play Santa.

And go figure, but Santa instantly passes out again. Didn’t see that coming. Soon, however, we hear a siren approaching off in the distance. Then we cut to the rolling wheel of an antique fire engine [?], and then there’s a random shot of a palm tree. We pan down from this tree to find Santa still passed out.
