Back at the ruins of the Emerald City, Mombi is in her throne room again, composing her latest single.

A flash of light darts along the mirrored walls, the same one that Dorothy saw earlier. Mombi greets the apparition, calling it “Ozma”. Mombi tells Ozma that nobody knows who she is anymore, and that she’ll never be freed. So have fun flitting around in that mirror, mm-kay?

In another part of Oz, the wheelers are still following Dorothy, but they’re not making much progress as far as stopping her. And when they reach the edge of the Deadly Desert, they can’t do anything more. Sayonara, suckers!

Return to Oz (1985) (part 4 of 5)

As Dorothy and crew sail over the Deadly Desert, one of the ropes begins to slip. Meanwhile, Dorothy and Billina continue to sleep peacefully.
