A rectangular wipe takes us to The Place, where it’s now snowing. Not Peter Lorre, who for some reason is now being called “Pierre”, pops a champagne cork, and he and Rick congratulate Fingal on screwing up all the weather.

Fingal is beside himself that he “made some waves!” You mean, like that wave that’s currently destroying the South Pacific? Pierre shakes Fingal’s hand. “It is a pleasure, my dear sir, to see the waves you make!” Hey, if you’re lucky, it might be the last thing you see before you drown.
