The Buick pulls into the Wooded Area and the military guys both get out to investigate. We cut to a cheap space capsule with “UNITED STATES” on the outside, and it’s pock marked and covered with something that looks like furballs or mildew or something. The Narrator says, “Without question, this was the capsule that had put Douglas into orbit!” Wait, are you sure? Maybe you ought to run the plates just to check.

As it turns out, Astronaut Douglas was approximately two inches thick.

“And without question, Douglas was gone without a trace!” That’s probably for the best, because there’s no possible way a human being could fit inside this thing. Actually, I strongly suspect the “space capsule” is really a painted cardboard cutout, because we only get one angle on it as Military Guy With No Name fiddles around at the base of it.
