This movie is one of my guilty pleasures. Thanks for the review, Slob. I just might re-watch this again this weekend…or should I abstain and just live with my fuzzy memories?

I think it’s best to remember it fondly.

i have a feeling had it come out today, it might have done better. hollywood is all about being “dark” these days and that movie was definitely on the dark side, especially compared to how light and fluffy the tv show was. i’m not saying it would have necessarily been a hit but…it wouldnt have the stigma it seems to these days. that said, i enjoyed it…and not just for the triple yumminess of the robinson girls.

Did i miss it, or did you choose to leave out that weird space-monkey-thing?

I don’t think anyone could like Blarp. Not even The Cinema Slob.

I was worried the review was running long so I decided to leave out Blarp. Though if I ever make a “Best CGI characters in movies” list I’m sure he’ll be right up there with Jar Jar Binks.

This is a general comment…I hate it when recappers think their videos are “too long”. Us, the viewing audience want to to know more, not less. It helps us understand your arguments when you provide more material, so to everyone…don’t skimp on details that us, also viewers of the material that you might view, not mention. At the worst you’ll find a fan that has no idea of the material and the extra info might make someone more interested in the intellectual property. That’s my thought anyways if I’m completely wrong tell me and I’ll shut up about the issue.
