Howling II: Your Sister is a Werewolf (1986) (part 6 of 9)
Jenny is understandably unnerved by the puppet show, and also by Tondo remarking that it’s “charming” and making reference to “the wolf in sheep’s clothes”. They then retire to the hotel, and we get a shot of the maid puppet covering her eyes, just before cutting to Jenny in the bathtub.
An Obligatory Ominous POV Shot™ approaches Jenny, and it turns out to be Ben, of course. He yells, “Boo!” like the doofus he is.
Jenny has no reaction to this, other than a polite smile. Cut to the next scene. I’m starting to understand why the editor of the film thought every frame of footage needed to be used, and why cheesy optical wipes were essential to the mise-en-scene of the piece.
