Survivor: Flipping Out
Oct 27, 2015
Well, folks, there’s good news and bad news. The good news is: Neil Gaiman’s fantasy novel American Gods is finally being adapted for television.
The acclaimed novel won both the Hugo and the Nebula, and was once slated for television adaptation by HBO, known for its high-quality programming. The bad news is that HBO has dropped the project. Network execs say they don’t want to do the show because they just can’t get the script right.
Luckily, STARZ network, which brought us the Bronx Bunny Show, is there to pick up the sloppy seconds. The STARZ version of American Gods will likely air late next year.
I just hope it doesn’t suck.
