RAW FEED: Game Drunks - Mystery Circle (and the return of my lost cat)
One week ago I woke up in the morning to go to work, and realized that I hadn’t seen my cat recently. Sometimes he just hides somewhere for a day because cats are lazy, but I decided to call him just to make sure he was around somewhere in the new place I had just moved into.
After calling him for ten minutes and looking around, I came to the realization that he wasn’t anywhere. That he must have somehow gotten out. I’ve lived with that little fuck for 13 years, taken him everywhere with me, and having him vanish was pretty devastating. I put up about 150 fliers around town, spammed every doorstep with his picture, but I didn’t have a lot of hope that anyone would be able to catch him even if they saw him because he’s a fucking asshole to everyone except me and incredibly smart.
The closest I got to finding him was a call from an old woman a few houses down. She said she saw him on her front porch. Apparently he had completely gone through her garbage and made a giant mess, but he ran off when he saw her.
Right around the same time of my cat going missing I had to say goodbye to a very special friend as well, and then I had an accident at work that resulted in me cutting off two of the fingertips on my left hand. That kind of shit can send anyone into a pretty dark place. And it did. So in an effort to keep my mind busy as I was sitting at home in pain on workers comp, I endeavored to set up a Raspberry Pi emulator and try to find some games that I could kinda play with one hand.
And here I am tonight, making stupid videos, and my cat must have heard the sound of my voice through the windows and decided to come back home.
