Monday night’s primetime broadcast ratings!

#1 Dancing with the Stars kicked off its new season with 13.5 million viewers, more than twice anything else on TV last night. Still, that’s a record low for a DWTS premiere.

#2 A rerun of Castle came in second with just over 7 million, no doubt benefiting from its DWTS lead-in.

#3 Under the Dome came in third with under 7 million, thankful to be competing with Castle and not DWTS.

#4 The 8/7 pm rerun of The  Big Bang Theory came in fourth at 6.3 million…

#5 …followed by the season finale of MasterChef airing at the same time with 5.5 million.

#6 Another Big Bang rerun at 9:30/8:30 ranked sixth with 5.4 million.

#7 And NBC aired THREE STRAIGHT HOURS of American Ninja Warrior with just over 5 million people watching.

Over on The CW, a rerun of Whose Line Is It Anyway? at 8/7 (1.1 million) beat a new America’s Next Top Model at 9/8 (1 million), which is interesting to me and probably no one else.
