Fade back to nighttime once again, while the full moon drifts past a matte painting of the Capitol building. Since this is Post-Apocalyptic 2017, the structure is partially destroyed and is now just a hollow shell of its former self. Much as I’ll be once this movie is over.

Inside the Capitol building (at least, I assume it’s inside), a naked girl is being “interrogated” on an operating table. Hey, cool! So someone finally put to good use those torture chambers inside the Capitol building! See? Tip O’Neill wasn’t crazy when he had those installed!
