Alone in the Dark (2005) (part 5 of 8)

Finally, Rob is attacked by one of the Skeletor-aliens. (And I’ll just go ahead and call them “skaliens” for short. It’ll make things a lot easier, trust me.) So while he’s standing there, a big CGI claw comes up behind him, grabs him by the head, and some other random appendage shoots through Rob’s head and comes out of his mouth. He goes down, and the CGI skalien, mostly hidden by shadows, stands and looks around.

A little bit later, Tara and Carnby arrive at the scene, and Tara calls out Rob’s name in her standard non-descript tone. Rob? Don’t be dead, dude. That would really bum me out for the rest of the night. The skalien is heard and our heroes run out of the exhibit room. There’s a cut, and all of a sudden they’re in a corridor. Smooth editing, gang. And oddly enough, the lights are working fine here.
