Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold (1987) (part 4 of 5)
Our heroes manages to get free, but the last Askari is not as lucky, as he’s horribly burnt alive in the flames. Farewell, cannon fodder Askari. You were… Well, not really important at all, really.
Exhausted from the heat (or simply bored with this shitty movie), Allan gets off a few shots from his pistol, which slam into a rock above the geyser. After a beat, the rock finally gets loose and crashes down as the theme music plays. Well, sort of, since it seems the guy doing the sound mix made the water and fire too loud, so the music seems very faint.
The rock crashes down near the fire, and the force of the impact in the water sends them away from the danger. Suddenly, we cut to Jesse waking up with a scream. No, you didn’t miss anything. This film’s pacing just has one nasty ass stutter!
