Just in time for the release of The Amazing Spider-Man (what a coincidence!), it’s the Turkish Spider-Man, actual title: 3 Dev Adam, or 3 Mighty Men! In honor of the occasion, three mighty reviewers (Film Renegado, Mr. Mendo, and Sofie Liv) team up to review the movie where Spider-Man is a psycho rapist crime boss who has to be stopped by Captain America and El Santo, in one of the most confusing and nonsensical plots ever.

Ha, inspired, guys!  The funny thing is that I’ve read about 3 Dev Adam on other sites and yet I was still surprised at how utterly bizarre the whole thing really is.  I wonder if the post-production team on Howling 2 took their editing notes from this movie.

    • I dunno, admitedly most of the editing issues of this film are a result of a really poor budget and unexperienced filmmakers, just imagine us trying to edit with film footage and not in digital, how good would that come out?

  • Sofie Liv

You know I love this videos, but I can’t help sitting criticing half my own deliveries. I think half of them are good but the other half I could seriously have done better X)

This videos is still very funny though :D

    • edharris1178

I thought your delivery was just fine all the way through.  Also, bonus points for the single greatest deployment of the “sad puppy dog face in the history of the world.

      • Sofie Liv

        Aw thanks.

But you know, I have to give all the credit for the greatness of this video to the writing. Which is all Renegado and Mendo I had nothing to do with that. (except my own jesus jokes, I recycled those from one of my old stand-up set pieces.. and that set-piece was literately, make as many silly jesus jokes as possible.)
So yeah, so many many jokes spit out all the time, all cudos to Renegado and Mendo. I just joined the wagon X)

        • MichaelANovelli

Don’t worry, we forgive you.  ;-)

          • Russell Brin (Facebook sux)

So were any kittens harmed during the Turkish to Danish to Spanish translations?

          • MichaelANovelli

No, as far as I know Mrs. Norris survived the transistion…

        • You know I got less sad puppy dog from that look and more Puss In Boots, complete with the hat held out in front. That look makes me think she’ll pull out a cutlass and cut me to rivets at any moment. I’ve met her in person and I know what she’s like off camera. She’ll do it you know!

But seriously that was a nice triple threat to see there. Mendo says he could be watching Amadeus than this movie. I could be watching Ross Noble. At least his weird, random tangents are hilarious and you can actually understand what the hell he’s saying! Most of the time at least.

The stand-up excerpt part was a good touch too. My crappy camera work on the “Completely Different” part should never be inflicted on people more than once. Did you know I got a callback to shoot ‘The Hunger Games’?

My shit jokes aside, kudos for sitting through that mess.

          • MichaelANovelli

            Whose tangents?  Mine or Noble’s?

          • Noble’s. I said that just like you would rather watch Amadeus than this movie, I said I would rather watch Ross Noble than this movie. I hope that’s cleared up the confusion.

          • MichaelANovelli

OK.  I hope with time you learn to enjoy my random tangents, as well.  :-)

          • Sofie Liv

…. yes! I am sure you will learn how to enjoy your random tangents! just remember to use a sponge.

          • Russell Brin (Facebook sux)

For some reason I don’t see you as Captain America, but more like USAgent…Sofie’s look as Spider Girl 2099 is a good look, but she seems more like Squirrel Girl and Renegado is clearly Rictor since he likes to shake things up a lot.  USAgent, Squirrel Girl and Rictor, a nice unconventional team.

          • MichaelANovelli

            That’s scarily accurate…

          • Sofie Liv

I’ve never ever heard of any of those superheroes… And I wanted to cosplay Spiderwoman! not… Squirrel girl? .. that some-what sounds like a parody.

            Darn it, i’ll cosplay spiderwoman any-way B)

          • Russell Brin (Facebook sux)

Squirrel Girl has defeated Doctor Doom!  And Terrax, Thanos, MODOK and Deadpool as well; they tend to underestimate her.

          • I agree…it’s kind of accurate…I’d love to see fanart of this xD

          • Sofie Liv

“That look makes me think she’ll pull out a cutlass and cut me to rivets
at any moment. I’ve met her in person and I know what she’s like off
camera. She’ll do it you know!”

I have no idea what you are talking about. I’m innocent! Innocent I tell you!

But well.. yeah, I was imitating the Push in boots, that’s what the script said. “Make push in boots eyes.” so I just went… okay. Plus I freaking love that character! any excuse to imitate him is a good excuse!

And yep, those stand-up bits were indeed recycled stuff from prior performances.. translated to english of cause. I actually thought some other jesus jokes were better, but I couldn’t translate those. Glad you enjoyed :)

          • Oh wait no that was one of your evil doppelgangers. The one who blew up Gomer, not that miserable parallell one. I should really keep an eye out.

Agreed. Puss In Boots is a great character just being voiced by Banderas alone. The sword-fighting, badass Zorro kitty character just adds to that.

As always, I enjoyed it. Thanks to all three of you for tripling the laughs :)

          • I wrote the Puss In Boots eyes bit, it just had to happen, specially with Sofie doing it.
Tangents are a good way of comedy sometimes, randomness, if used well, can make almost anyone burst into laughter…also did you know tangents are also lines that barely touch a circunference?

            I’m an engineer.

    • Awww, well that was kinda my fault too, I should have put a couple more directions on how to say the lines, but even without them, you did a great work!

  • Arcadiassx999

Hey guys, I think you all just hit your high water mark with this review.
By the way the music at 22:50 is from the soundtrack from The “Battle of Brittan”.  Strange that they would use that cut.  Who’s on first! Lol, great stuff!!

    • Thank you! Yeaaah, they had a lot of weird choices with everything in this movie. But hey, at least it makes it really unique!

The Who’s on First skit was Mendo’s idea, I’m embarassed to say I’d never heard of that routine until he told me about it xD

      • Sofie Liv

I had, and I beat him to it in using it!

I all-ready did it by the end of my “twilight” review, the first one, with my friend whom stood in the room with me, so :P to Mr. Mendo.

  • Torgeaux

Now all of you do “Aysecik ve Cuceler Ruyalar Ulkesinde” (Little Ayse and the Magic Dwarves) or as it’s better known, “The Turkish Wizard of OZ.”  If you can finish that one, you will have my eternal respect!  Caution, you may open a hole in your skull and pour in bleach to try and rid all memory of it.

    • Sofie Liv

Phew tough, here the question must be asked though. Who’s  Dorothy, who’s the scarecrow, who’s the tin-man and who’s the cowardly lion.

I vote that Mendo should be Dorothy, and then I call dips on the Scarecrow!
Oh, and another reviewer would need to be brought in for that one to make a four-way. I vote for the blockbuster chick!

You write that right Renegado?  (trivia, apart from recycled jokes from an old stand-up piece I wrote NONE of this and have certainly not seen the movie. So hehe, yeah sure.)

      • You can be damn sure I will write it, Sofie xD. Especially now with the help of Mendo and Cheap Arse :3

Also, you may have not written the script, but you gave your own twist to the lines,to me that counts as creative input ;)

        • Russell Brin (Facebook sux)

I just finished watching the Blockbuster Buster’s top 10 Hispanic heroes (loved your cameo by the way), and it got me thinking of another crossover idea (would also fit in with Angry Joe being a gamer), starring the best Latina master thief of all time; Carmen Sandiego.   And since she’s voiced by the legendary Rita Moreno it seems like a good topic to build a crossover around.

          • That’s actually a really cool idea! I dunno about it being a crossover though. I don’t even watch Angry Joe xD

          • MichaelANovelli

Well, maybe I could sit in?  I played a little CS growing up, and I was OBSESSED with the game show!  Believe me, I know the theme song like the back of my hand…

          • I just read this xD. We could talk about it, plus, we have a game reviewer in the site now!

          • MichaelANovelli

            I’m always up for anything!

          • Russell Brin (Facebook sux)

As that fanfic monologue proved, that’s definitely true (the comment “I don’t like where this is going” was truly epic).  It would be great to have cameos from other Agony Booth contributors being some of the henchs (gender neutral than henchmen) that would parlay some info that was game classic like “You’re getting too close gumshoe!” or “The trails gotten cold, better work on your technique rookie”

        • Sofie Liv

          Next time I hopefully wont have to send you raw footage -_-;

That’s first time I have ever done that for a cross-over or cameo, I didn’t like it, I hope I wont have to do it again. But oh darn it, with my schedule, who knows :/

          • Yeah, sorry about that, I should’ve been more patient :S

I still think it turned out great though.

          • Sofie Liv

It’s cool, I gave you a date and I was the one not able to actually keep my own deadline, so it’s really my own fault.

    • MichaelANovelli

Well, where did YOU find a copy?

  • yay!

    • Sofie Liv

  • Launchpad25

I didn’t know Dr. Insano had A wife? Has Spoony been hitting on you, liv?

    • Sofie Liv

Not what I know off… but you know just in case. “Hey Spoony… how are you doing?”

      • MichaelANovelli

        Back off!  He’s mine!  LOL

  • X Kecleon

I couldnt stop laughing at that scene with the pikachu.

I still dont understand anything about what is the movie about. I really got lost on the plot if it could be called that at all…..

    Great review, guys!

    • Sofie Liv

That truly was a very horrifying day for me… the day of the giant pikachu… at the Londomn MCM expo con btw, video to be found at this site X)

    • Like Mendo said, if you took mushroms before watching the movie, they’d be kicking in by the climax xD

  • ArthurCrane

Hey Renegado, has anyone told you you look like a mexican Tarantino?

    • MichaelANovelli

      So, Robert Rodriguez?

    • Ha…really? Never thought of that, thanks? xD

  • Wow…that’s, umm…I’ve heard some things about this movie, but it’s far more insane than I could ever have dreamed. O_O Good review!

The highlight was Sofie’s sad face, though. :p

PS: I have that Sith poster from near the beginning in my room…

    • MichaelANovelli

It’ll only get crazier from here…

    • Sith masters unite! I got it just a few weeks before the movie came out xD

      • Yay for putting up late replies, I guess? Hope so, I seem to be a master at it, hehe. Gotta love the poster. Especially since I actually, uhh… *lowers voice* I actually liked Revenge of the Sith, apart from the reason given for a certain female character’s death…oh, you know who I’m talking about… And I even liked General Grievous. My taste must be terrible. But, uhh…posters!

        • Sofie Liv

the only reason for late replies is that I did not see your comment…

Yeah, it’s my new jutsu “Sad-face.” and I am perfecting it as we speak!

          • Oh! No, I was referring to my late reply, it would be really…presumptuous for me to assume that you were going to reply. I mean, you only have almost every post on the forum to look over, which has to be extraordinarily time consuming, hehe. :P But, glad to hear about the sad-face. ;)

        • Haha, it’s ok, I admit I rather like the movie too. I mean, come on, I bought the poster! While the plot was idiotic I can never ignore flashy and well done special effects xD

  • To any critic that might be on this site, will any of you ever review Seth Rogens disgusting basteridzation of the Green Hornet? Id love to see someone tear that peice of trash a new one, but at the same time I hate the idea of anyone being forced to watch it…so I’m conflicted.

    • MichaelANovelli

I can sit through it just fine, I may take a shot at it…

    • Sofie Liv

       It’s on my list…

cause I hated that fucking movie. I had wanted a green hornet for some time, and was excited by the prospect of it. But this was absolutely NOT what I had in mind.

      • that sure sounds like a set up for another AWESOME Mendo/Sofie cross over, lol:D

      • MichaelANovelli

Did Sofie just swear?  Oh man, shit’s getting real!

        • Sofie Liv

I swear a lot in my every-day languet… and in my videos.. so much that I have been asked to turn it down, and I went. “But I didn’t swear that much.” … apparently I did.
I think you are making up pictures of me in your head… I swear, and I make perve jokes.. and Green Hornet the movie is a stupid movie..
