Win a date with the Most Interesting Man in the World
How’d you like to spend a day with the Most Interesting Man in the World, or at least the guy who plays him on TV? Actor Jonathan Goldsmith is raffling off a day of falconry and off-road driving by his side because it’s not just a role; he’s actually that much cooler than you in REAL LIFE.
Oh, and all the money goes to landmine removal in Cambodia. Of course it does. What did I JUST say about him being cooler than you?
“How would you like to spend a day with me, learning falconry in my home state of Vermont, and driving through a Range Rover driving course? Don’t worry, I’ll arrange round trip travel to Vermont as well as your hotel accommodations for you and a friend,” his invitation says.
(I know in your head you’re reading it in that gravelly Mexican accent he uses in beer commercials, but sadly to say that’s fake. He was raised in NYC and speaks crisp, standard, mid-Atlantic American English.)
For every $5 you donate to Mines Advisory Group (MAG), you’re entered to win the grand prize trip to Vermont. Plus, there are other prizes you can outright buy, such as autographed flip-flops (?) for $250 or a signed box of cigars for $500. The last day to enter is Wednesday, Oct. 8.
There are ways to get a free raffle entry because of gambling laws, but don’t be a dick. If you want in, donate.
(I once ran into a guy cosplaying the Interesting Man in the World. That’s pretty much the same thing, right?)
