Ugh, I just realized these are the people holding the ReBoot license. And it's barely made over half its budget.Do you see this face? This is the face of a man who has lost hope a decade ago but has just discovered he can go even lower.

Amazing people can't be more creative with their animation.. it's animation! only your imagination is the limit! Also, making good cheap animated movies are absolutely possible, you just need to be a little imaginative! Any-one seen "Hoodwinked" ? that was a very creative, genuinly funny, little flick coming out from also an up-starting animations studio. To bad the sequel weren't nearly as imaginative -_-; Okay, crossing this one off list, thanks for the update.

Damn, I forgot Hoodwinked existed. I just checked and one of my libraries has it, so now I know what to check out next time I'm there. Thanks, Sofie!

You know the person who made Hoodwinked did the original script of this movie.

One of the companies that worked on Hoodwinked worked on this actually. I...am not exceptionally fond of Hoodwinked, although part of that might be because while I was watching it the first time I was really frustrated with a computer virus that I'd been trying to get rid of for seven hours. Either way at least that movie was creative.

I was laughing a lot when I first saw hoodwinked.. all though this might be one of the cases where the danish voice cast was better than the english one? I don't know, I laughed a lot, so did my little-sister. And we walked around quoting the thing for ages. But yeah, hard to deny that that movie was very creative and unique in its own little way.

I think I really want this movie to be the next Home On The Range--that final nail in the coffin that tells its parent company that they ran out of gas by making formula films
2/22/2013 4:51:24 AM
Me too, although unlike Disney, the companies here really haven't done a lot to suggest that they're capable of much better.

Is that 2 out of 5 or 10? (or even something else, I won't judge)
2/22/2013 4:44:51 AM
2 out of 10. :)

Thanks! And from the looks of things, deserved.

Ah, it's sad when the best thing you can say about a movie is it did not make you mad.I guess this is Shatner's third crappy animated feature as he did Over The Hedge, too. However, I did like Osmosis Jones, where he played the mayor of Bill Murray. Likely Bill will survive this; at this stage of his career he is teflon.
2/22/2013 2:51:27 AM
Yeah, I don't think Shatner really needs to worry about what movies he does, honestly.
2/21/2013 10:52:33 PM
Oh boy... I couldn't even get myself to see this piece of crap! Doesn't the title kind of spoil the ending of the film?

It does, it does. Don't, it's an hour and a half of your life that you'll never get back.
