on Sunday, March 25, 2012
For the 30th anniversary of his debut, Godzilla returns to the big screen in 1984's Godzilla 1985 (not a misprint) also known as The Return of Godzilla and Godzilla 1985: The Legend is Reborn. It picks up 30 years after the original and ignores all the movies in between, and they once again inserted Raymond Burr into the American version, reprising his role as Steve Martin!
In this episode of Terror Obscura: Jason Voorhees, sentient steel shutters, and a misunderstanding of the word "taint" abound! What does any of that have to do with Godzilla? Heck if Fear Fan knows.

“It’s been written that what dates Star Trek: The Next Generation as an ‘80s show more than anything is the presence of a therapist on the bridge. But what does that mean? Does it mean that therapy became chic in the ‘80s, but is going to fade in importance?”
