Sorry for the interruption, but we'd really appreciate it if you watched some of our videos!
All videos are written, performed, and edited by the Agony Booth staff, so they're just like the recaps you know and love, only without all that annoying reading!

Unlike many movie sites, Agony Booth isn't run by fanboys; most of the mods are older professionals (their ranks include a computer programmer, a teacher,

What a odd movie, I still did laugh out loud at the clip from 'Better off Dead'. I love that movie in all it's general weirdness. I'm also strangely in love with the electric glove girl.

Thanks! Yes, it is quite an oddity. It has an overwhelming amount of violence for a feel good family movie. Better off dead is one of my favorite comedies. I want my 2 dollars!

I'm intrigued by the "Reindeer Games" review. Poor John Frankenheimer; imagine directing movies like "The Manchurian Candidate" and then having your last theatrical film be a Ben Affleck actioner.I've got to ask, what are the clips in the opening credits from? I recognize "The Story of Ricky," "Roller Boogie," "Thriller," "Motel Hell" and "Cool as Ice," but everything else eludes me.

Reindeer Games, while not on par with Frankenheimer classics like Birdman of Alcatraz and Ronin, was still quite good. A shame he died with something that should have been routine. Here is the list of movies from the intro. They are, in order: I Come in Peace, The Stuff, Class of 1999, My Boyfriend’s Back, Riki-Oh, Roller Boogie, Defcon-4, Thriller: A Cruel Picture, Class of 1999, Motel Hell, The Crazies, Society, and Cool as Ice.

Ah...no offense intended to your work Cecil (you still did a good job here, I don't want to knock your hard work or anything)...but didn't we already have something on this film already? (Albeit in monotone text format?) Have things really gotten to the point where we're going over things already covered on the site?

Well, there's never been any rule that multiple reviewers couldn't cover the same film, it just doesn't happen very often...

Thanks for checking out the video, I hope you enjoyed it. I don't really see an issue. The text review is from almost a decade ago and it takes a completely different angle.

I'm just surprised there isn't a link to the text recap.

Mama Mia! already had this happen to it, so I think there's precedent.

Since agony booth has ditched doing text recaps (which I loved, by the way) I don't really see the harm in redoing some of those movies as video reviews.
