VIDEO: Tied in Blood (2012)

We’re sorry...

This video is no longer available due to the shutdown of Blip.tv.

As the Fear Fan gets ready for the first episode of Terror Obscura Season 2, he takes a moment to review Tied in Blood, a special fan request. The result? Ghost blowies, A-Team references, and incredibly worrying séance phrases.

Another excellent mix of critique and humor! I can’t wait for the eventual review of the Friday the Thirteenth series or even another Godzilla movie.

Remember: Terror Obscura and the Fear Fan are not legally liable for any water damage to your computer screen! You have been warned!
On a more serious note- don’t worry, I’ll be digging into FT13th soon.

    What a strange little movie.

I have to see this now.

Always happy to introduce someone to something new!

I don’t see what the big deal is, all you’d need to do is salt and burn the remains and voila, no more ghosts.

Amateurs.  Also, is it me or would the Psychic guy have made a decent John Constantine?

    • fearfanforever

Visually, he’d be great, but I’m not sure about the whole “fuck you” attitude that makes John Constantine so cool. Whatever the case, he’d be a hell of a lot better than Keanu “I learned to act from a tree stump” Reeves.

      • The_Stig

That’s what I was thinking as well. Anything would have to be an improvement over Keanu.

Well he was actually pretty good in Sam Raimi’s The Gift, because he actually tried in that movie I felt.

        • Thomas Stockel

Keanu is okay within a limited range (i.e. Speed, the first Matrix movie).  But yeah, when it comes to doing something deep or complex (or requiring a convincing British accent) he is terrible.

Great review, by the way, FF!

Keanu is good when he’s not required to act.

             Glad you liked it!

House of the Dead?  You poor bastard.

I dunno, man.  I mean, the boss is supposed to be evil, but I’m kind of siding with him.  I doubt, “Your great aunt Sadie wants me to tell you that you’re a crushing disappointment and the torments of Hell are better than your cooking ever was,” would be well received, even if it was honest.

You’d think the client pacing back and forth behind the medium would be -really- distracting…

    • fearfanforever

Indeed it is distracting, and he actually comments on it several times in the film.
