VIDEO: The Sixth Sense (1999)

Full of Questions takes a look at The Sixth Sense, where Bruce Willis stalks a very precocious Haley Joel Osment, who has one of the most ridiculously quoted movie lines ever.

The recording thing does make some sense. The tapes do record magnetically, if the ghosts affect the tapes the same way they affect a telepathic brain then a radio would get snippets of words. It is called EVP, or Electronic Voice Phenomenon.

Also, I sobbed watching the final part with Willis and his wife. Have not watched the movie in years, but just the idea kicked in and it was terribly sad. Ah…

Also, twist ending: you’re not dead. That is good. Your stuff is adequately different to provide something other than what others do for entertainment.

Wow, that really does make sense. Thanks for explaining it.
And thanks for the compliment. 🙂

    “Clothing tags?” Classic Questions!

This is why you “pop them tags” as it were.

      and classic Yulia, too! 😉

I have a theory on the ghost woman and the husband. During the famous scene, Haley says that the ghost don’t know they are dead and they see what they want to see. So, for the ghost woman unfortunately, everyone she sees is her husband. That’s my theory on that.

Which obvious you probably know, so good video!

Wow, I never even thought of that! It does explain it, and thank you for commenting.

I see slutty people too on Halloween… I thought I was the only one. :O lol

“Slutty girls in slutty costumes! Whoring it up!”

Good review, although the sound is a bit unbalanced.

I know. I’m sort of between editing software, and I’m still learning how to use this one.

I never saw this movie because a couple weeks after it came out I was reading a review of another movie and the reviewer mentioned in passing what the twist ending of this movie was. Wasn’t sure it would be that great going in knowing that. I enjoyed your survey of the film and humorous interjections.

Can’t he see his wife when she dies.

    • MichaelANovelli

No, because he was bad. He didn’t make a second album in the 80’s and made Berry Gordy sad!

    • FullofQuestions1

Well, yeah, but until that happens, he’s going to be separated from her, so he’ll finally be as sad as she has been. That’s how I saw it. But you’re right, “He’ll never see her again” is poor wording.

      • danbreunig

Or just simply say “he’ll never see her again in this worldly life”. That should do it.
