VIDEO: Pariah

The Examined Life (of Gaming) reflects on Pariah, a 2005 sci-fi shooter that got totally lost in the shuffle after Half Life 2, and before the new console generation.

Hey, first reply on this great site. you are completely right about it all. I completed the game once and never remembered it again before I saw your reveiw.

    • Wait, what? Pariah? I reviewed it? Is it some kind of game?

All I remember about this game was that it was very generic and that I used God Mode on the last level to get it over with faster.

That follow-up multiplayer game (WarPath) they made wasn’t too bad. Only problem was no one bought it, so you could only play against bots.

    • I’d like to do a quickie review on Warpath. Maybe a “sequels” episode, or something.

after watching this I’m now curious to see how another game company would have handled it. Bethesda’s Pariah would have been GOTY material guaranteed.

  • Titan’s Fist has to be the coolest name for video gtame weapon after DOOM’s BFG…
