Jessica Williams Explains Fear Goggles And The Michael Dunn Case

Here’s The Daily Show’s Jessica Williams to provide some new lessons for Black History Month, following the murder of Jordan Davis: some survival tips for black teens in a world full of armed, “chronically terrified white people.” You want comedy born of tragedy, she’s got it. Much better than just staring in helpless frustration.

Bonus points for the mike drop at the end, which takes some doing when she’s sitting at a desk and wearing a lavalier mic.

Also worth a look: Jon Stewart’s interview with Kevin Spacey about House of Cards — you’ll be delighted to know that while preparing to play a House Majority Whip, Spacey had the opportunity to follow Republican Whip Kevin McCarthy, and “he even invited me to a Whip Meeting.” Jon’s ad-lib is perfect.

I would love to see her with Key and Peele doing their Obama & Luther style, that would be one sharp pointy stick of a skit 🙂
