VIDEO: Jarry Putter (2003)

We’re sorry...

This video is no longer available due to the shutdown of Blip.tv.

From the depths of the cheapest Mexican cinema comes Jarry Putter, a softcore porn parody of the Harry Potter franchise (specifically Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone).  Renegado and the Porn Critic team up to guide you through this rare, random, and weird gem.

hm… okay kind of odd if they decided to make this a piece about gay people why this versions Dumbledore is straight.

I mean come on, he is like the only major fantasy character out there whom is officially gay! so why not have a slight nodge at that in your movie?

Any-how, this movie looked.. weird, but clips that you showed actually amused me! And it’s always nice to get a visit from the porn critic isn’t it? X)

    • Well this porno-dy came out in 2003, which was 4 years before Dumbledore did. Maybe he was bi-curious at this point I dunno.

      • Sofie Liv

I dunno, the genneral fan-reaction to that bit of information was gennerally.

        “Yeah, that makes sense.”

so i guess it’s always been present in the books, she just never adressed it directly because it’s not really important to the plot at all. That’s why she’s a good writer ya know 😉

    • I know right? We need more excuses to have him on videos x3

Well, I’m pretty sure the writer of Jarry Putter hadn’t even read the books and was guiding himself only from the first movie, for all I know he could have only watched the trailers xD

      • LindaMinda

Admittedly the Jarry writer makes more sense than half the Chinese Potter knock-offs.

        Good review.

        • Thanks! Woah, how many Chinese Potter knock-offs are out there?

    •  I think we all know you’d love a visit from The Porn Critic, Sofie.

      • MephLord

Maybe she’d rather have a visit from Katie K…to you know, talk about girl super hero movies…

        • Sofie Liv

I think you are writing a fan-fiction inside of your mind. There’s other enternet sites for that ya know.

But yeah, why wouldn’t I want an visit from the awesome Rick Bush?
Most of all though, I just want a sketch show with him in it cause I know he would have few boundaries X)
Oh, and also of cause, because he is funny 😀

But who knows what might happen in the year 2013, there’s conventions in England right? It’s not far for me, and we all like conventions.

          • MephLord

I’ve only been to one convention in my life, Anime Expo 1998, and it was a pretty miserable experience.  Going to a Wizard World or Comic Con would be cool just to see some of the cosplayers, but I can’t think of any other reason to justify the cost of flying (since I’m in a remote place, all of the major centres are only accessible by flight and flight in Canada is pretty expensive next to Europe).  One day I might check out a con in Toronto since I wouldn’t need to renew my passport for that, but it’s still quite a flight to get there.

          • Sofie Liv

I meant me going to a English con and maybe meet up with one or two british people of this site, and one of those would be our lovely porn critic.

I can’t force other people to go to cons, but honestly, some cons may suck, but mostly, they are great exsperiences so I highly recommend it!
            It’s a lot of fun 😀

  • MephLord

It seems Porn Critic is single handedly keeping the UK tissue industry alive.  It doesn’t seem like there’s much to fap to in this movie, it looks painfully boring for the most part.  And where are the Busty Cops when you need them, the Boy Wonder can’t work miracles!

  • Thomas Stockel

Those are some of the oldest teenagers I have ever seen. 🙂

  • FullofQuestions1

Good job, you guys clearly have better taste than I do and avoided the Serbian Film joke.

  • Marshall Oliver Estes

Nothing like the “make fun of gay people until the very end, then it’s totes ok to be gay!” comedy trope. ::roll eyes::

Anyway, good review. Just curious, how is the portrayal of LGBT individuals in mainstream Mexican media?

    • Jerry Nava

Sadly, it’s pretty much just like this movie, LGBT in Mexico are either mocked with the most dated tropes or ignored. Crossdressing is still just for laughs and so on.

But I guess that is to be expected when you live in a country with 90%+ catholics 🙁

      • Marshall Oliver Estes

That’s sad, but it’s not much better in America, really. Even in the pro-gay comedies, a lot of the comedy comes from gay stereotypes.
