Another review pointed out a big problem with this film:  If it’s that guy’s camera that derails the coaster in the premonition, how does it get derailed when he’s not on it when it’s really moving?

I asked myself that same question. Death pulled out his scythe last minute 😉

Though we’ve seen in the previous film how death could just make thing happen to convenience. There was the toilet water that lead to todd strangling himself in the first movie; and the vents that automatically shut off leading to an explosion that killed Eugene and Claire in the second movie. At that point, I’d just leave it to suspense of disbelief.

    Great review, Joey!

This franchise is one of my favorites, and I like seeing someone look at the films with such a critical eye. But, I have to point out one mistake you made in this video, and one you’ve made in all of them. The first has nothing to do with the franchise, but I’ll say it anyway, Ryan Merriman was not in The Thirteenth Year. And the second, Ali Larter’s character in the first two films was actually named Clear Rivers, not Claire. I’ll say this though, Clear is kind of a stupid name.

I wasn’t sure if in the fourth movie, calling the resort “Clear Rivers” was an easter egg intentionally spelling her name wrong. I think I confused “Smart House” for “The Thirteenth Year” as well.

      Thanks for pointing it out!
