Cecil digs up further proof that there’s a slasher movie for just about every occasion! Fatal Games, AKA Olympic Horror, a 1984 horror film starring Sally Kirkland made to cash in on that year’s Summer Olympics, features a killer who puts an end to the dreams of a bunch of Olympic hopefuls using his weapon of choice, a javelin.

      While sometimes they veered off into goofy territory, at least they took some risks. Now there seems to be this level of “safe” in most cinema fare. Back then you never knew what you might get!
