    QP = Quench Points?
Outstanding review/abbreviated let’s play. Watching people play games is frequently more entertaining as passive entertainment than most films. Fascinating how games can be therapeutic.

I’ve had a few people say that and it sounds about right. It’s just funny that in the manual, they have thirst gauge but then the acronym is QP. You think it would have been TG.

Thank you! I’m trying to do these condensed Lets plays/Reviews. With so much content out there I thought that a refined video of the essentials as well as humor would make for a nice change of pace for the folks who don’t want to watch 10+ hours of a LP.

“It’s like playing the game version of ‘Thunder in Paradise.'”

There actually *was* a game version of “Thunder in Paradise!”

Lots of funny moments in this video. Thanks!

Thank you! Now I have to track this game down!

I remember getting this game for 20 dollars. I remember my mom being in the room during the after bus sex moaning, really awkward for a few seconds. Fun game!

The price of admission lies squarely in your reference to S. & M.

    I mean Krofft.

    Do you do roms?

    • Cecil_Trachenburg

      Sometimes.

I’d love to see that PS3 version released. This looks like a legitimately interesting take on a genre that bases itself in survival. It’s sort of funny that it’s interesting, actually, because I’m surprised it’s not more oft explored. In my head this would seem the default before the horror portion is ever added. I like survival horror, but looking at this game, its sequel and the PS3 version that wasn’t released makes me wonder why I haven’t seen more of this for far longer. People’s opinions on graphics aside, this really looks worth tracking down. If I can I will. I always like discovering something new and interesting that I didn’t know about before. This episode definitely provided that. Thank you.

I know, right? It seems like something that there would be a lot more of but there just isn’t. There is so much that can be done within the concept and yet we get flooded with FPSs.

      Thanks!

Dang, sorry I missed this game. Might have to see if there’s a full let’s play on youtube.

    • Cecil_Trachenburg

      There’s a few.

I believe the original games are from japan. They just Americanized(?) it for the states.

    • Cecil_Trachenburg

Yep, they even changed the hair color from black to blond to make them look more “american”.

        It originally starred four non-blondes.

Another great review, Cecil, thank you. I often get more out of your reviews than I do the actual game/movie.
