VIDEO: The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009)

Edward decides his kind is too dangerous to be around Bella, so he goes into contrived self-exile, leaving Bella to screech like a maniac for months before finally finding comfort in hot werewolf Jacob. Alas, Sofie’s endless mocking of the movie earns her the wrath of Pia (played by Sofie Liv), a scantily-clad airhead who breaks into Sofie’s house to share a love of all things Twilight!

VIDEO: Alice in Wonderland (2010)

Sofie goes down the rabbit hole for Alice in Wonderland, another visually impressive yet incoherent mess from Tim Burton, starring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, and Mia Wasikowska as Alice. Watch and wonder how a movie this mediocre made a billion damn dollars.

VIDEO: Sofie's Journey to a Fantastic World

This time, Sofie tries something different, as she analyzes the patterns and
formulas used in fantasy movies, singing the praises of some big time classics as
well as newer blockbuster hits, including Pan’s Labyrinth, Chronicles of Narnia, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Avatar, Phantom of the Opera, Labyrinth, and even Twilight!

VIDEO: Transformers (2007)

Sofie takes on Michael Bay and his big, dumb, loud first entry in the Transformers series, starring Shia LaBeouf as a high school kid who befriends alien robots and, even more unbelievably, dates Megan Fox. While not as horrible as the two sequels, it’s still full of enough obnoxious humor (an Autobot pisses on John Turturro’s head! On camera!) to make it a chore to sit through.

VIDEO: Doctor Who “Love & Monsters”

As a cost-cutting move, the Doctor and Rose barely appear in this episode, and instead we focus on an ordinary guy who’s obsessed with the Doctor, and joins a group of like-minded people trying to find him. Alas, all he finds is a grotesque comedy relief alien designed by a nine year old. But on the plus side, he ends up with a girlfriend he can take for granite.

VIDEO: Sherlock Holmes (2009)

In this episode, special guest hosts Sherlock Holmes (portrayed by Sofie Liv) and Dr. John Watson (portrayed by Sursum Ursa) work together on one final case: examining the 2009 Guy Ritchie movie based on their exploits, starring Robert Downey, Jr., Jude Law, and Rachel McAdams. You may think you’ve seen it all, but have you ever seen a movie reviewed in the first-person? I think not!

VIDEO: The Muppet Show: Top 10 Songs

It’s time for Sofie to put on makeup, dress up right, and list her 10 favorite musical performances from the one and only The Muppet Show! And along the way, she reveals herself to be a woman of many talents: internet reviewer, pianist, singer, and trumpeter! No, that last thing is not a typo.

VIDEO: Tangled (2010)

It’s the debut of Red Suitcase Adventures, where your host Sofie Liv explores both the good and bad in popular films!

In the first episode, Sofie digs into the global phenomenon that is Disney, and looks at their recent attempts to get back to basics by releasing new old-school material, the latest of which is the 2010 fairy tale story Tangled.
