Yeah, I’m jumping on this bandwagon. New review later this month, hopefully!
This is part of a series of reviews we’re calling Movies that Predicted Trump, where we discuss the films that foretold (in ways both large and small) the election of Donald J. Trump as President...
Only put this on YouTube because Chrome’s being a jerk about letting me put it on Twitter. So yeah, Redskins slippers!
Bob Roberts is a film that could never be made today. This is the kind of stock phrase you see applied to anything made more than a decade ago, usually as a segue into a rant about how much more sensitive our modern society is. Whether this is an indictment of modernity or lambasting an ignorant past is up to whoever’s writing the article, but that’s not the reason Bob Roberts could never be made today…
This is a proof-of-concept thing I made for a group project in business school. The real video has more people in it, obviously.
I’m about to write a sentence that I (and most of you) would have never imagined that I would write: I think Rules Don’t Apply is a good movie… because it reminds me of The Room.
I swear more reviews are coming in the future! I just want to reassure you all that I didn’t die or anything! Also, DDP Yoga!
I’m not one to judge people for falling under the sway of merchandising-based nostalgia (I had He-Man and the Masters of the Universe bed sheets as a kid, so I get it). Please tell me I’m not the only person who sees this…
Pardon my lack of eye-contact, I haven’t slept in about two weeks.

CNN called winners with 0% of the vote counted. Democracy!
“While I sincerely doubt that the film will spawn many imitators, I’m glad it exists, because it does what great transgressive art should do: shock the audience out of complacency.”
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, spend an evening with the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling! One of the weirdest, most ‘80s things you’ve ever seen!
Gee, I wonder if I’m planning to review something? 😉
I taste some of the foreign sweeties from 7/11!
I caught up with Richmond’s version of RiffTrax, The FilmRoasters, at Fallout after their live riffing of Cool As Ice! Be sure to check out their next show, Fifty Shades Of Grey on 21 Nov at Fallout!
A taste of some Asian sodas I got at Gogi BiBimbap!
A three-for-one video game review of thing you can play for free online! Marvel at a video that’s as rough around the edges and disjointed as any freeware game, but made with just as much love!
